What a delightful retro game this week!

I’d never played Gitaroo Man growing up, but I feel like the soundtrack and overall style would have been formative in my youth. Though I can still appreciate the tunes, the gameplay did not age as well over the years…

That said, the Gitaroo Man DNA is definitely present in iNiS’ later followup, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan / Elite Beat Agents that we featured back in Episode 149.
