Episode 166: Silent Hill: The Short Message

I know, it’s been a while. Thanks for your patience! Let’s get this playlist catchup session rolling!

This week was the short but sweet PS5 totally free title, Silent Hill: The Short Message. Akira Yamaoka’s return to the franchise was much welcomed, as was a different spin on the traditional gameplay format. Some criticize it for being too on-the-nose with its themes, or some unrealistic dialogue, but I think it succeeds despite that. Especially for a freely offered game.
