Episode 96: Ape Out, Inscryption

This week covered a couple of fantastic indies I’ve played over the past year.

Ape Out is incredibly unique in how it captures the frenetic energy and chaos of playing a gorilla trying to escape its confinement. The jazz soundtrack (of sorts) is truly one of the coolest I’ve heard.

Inscryption, known for being one of the best games of 2021, is another short but sweet one. This one is for those looking for an addictive gameplay loop coupled with a story that only gets better the deeper you go into the rabbit hole. Don’t look up any spoilers! Best going in as blind as possible.
