Howdy all!
Episode 4 brought us our first recently released title: The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. Though only about 2 or so hours in playtime, acting as a “demo” of-sorts for Life Is Strange 2, Captain Spirit honestly stands alone by itself as its own, unique experience. Seeing the world through the eyes of a 9 year-old on a Saturday morning really took me back to the days of when I was a kid, playing with dinosaur and superhero action figures, making up stories and such to enhance my playtime. Seeing the contrast of that to the stark reality and Chris’s relationship with his Dad was something I very much appreciated in a game. There were a lot of deeper messages in this one and some seriously touching moments; exactly the sort that I have come to expect from Dontnod Entertainment.
